Welcome to the homepage for the Parks & Leisure Services Department of the City of Porterville.  We are glad you stopped by!  Our department consists of three divisions with the same mission of providing excellent customer service- enhancing quality of life by providing opportunities for public enjoyment, inspiration, education, personal development and cultural enrichment- and providing clean, safe, well designed parks and facilities. 

The Parks division maintains open spaces including parks (can you name all 8?!), trails, and medians as well as several community facilities.  The Leisure Services division facilitates programs, youth and adult sports, and special community events.  The Library division provides literacy materials and services for all ages throughout our community.  It is our pleasure to extend programs, places, and services to you.  We look forward to your participation and involvement.  Drop us a line or ask us a question by emailing parks_leisure@ci.porterville.ca.us
