The City of Porterville is currently accepting nominations for the Military Banner Program. Family members and loved ones may nominate a military hero to be honored with a banner that will show the individual’s name and photo. The banners will be displayed on major streets throughout the community. The new group of honorees will have their banner raised just prior to Memorial Day 2024. Cost of the banner is $260 and there is no charge for those honoring an individual that was Killed in Action (KIA).
