Are you interested in helping out the community at an awesome event? Join us for the Veterans Day Run on November 11, 2023. The race features a 5K Run, 10K Run and 5K walk on a scenic route in downtown Porterville and it all takes place before our community's largest parade of the year. With a growing number of participants, we can use A LOT of help to ensure the event runs smoothly and our participants have a great time. The volunteer details are listed below.

- Meet at City Hall- 291 N Main St. (look for the volunteer signs)
- Arrive no later than 6:30 AM for briefing and snacks
- Wear warm clothing- you will be outside
- Event runs 7:30- 9:45 am
- Duties might include: cheering for participants on the course, photographer, handing out snacks and water, directing traffic, etc.
We are hosting a pre-event meeting on November 7 at 4:30 PM for all staff and volunteers to go over details for the race. The Zoom Meeting information will be sent out to those that register.
