COVID-19 UPDATE- June 2, 2020 The Porterville Youth Center is currently CLOSED.
One of the best kept secrets in town!
The Youth Center is a FREE drop in recreation center for youth ages 10-18, which provides a wide variety of activities for boys and girls.
A parent/guardian must fill out a registration form prior to the youth attending.
Hours of Operation:
SCHOOL HOURS:
Mon-Tues, Thurs- Fri 3:00-6:00pm
Wednesdays 1:00- 6:00 pm
Holidays/ Breaks 1:00-6:00pm
SUMMER HOURS:
Monday-Friday 1:00-6:00pm
Closed Saturdays & Sundays
Youth Center Features Include:
- A game room with XBOX One, Play Station 4, XBOX 360, Wii, pool & ping pong tables, board games, foosball, and more.
- Gym for basketball, dodgeball, indoor soccer, volleyball and more
- Outside field for soccer, football, baseball and other games.
- Basketball court
- Field trips
- Holiday social gatherings
- Homework assistance
- Arts & crafts
- Snack bar
Over 200,000 youth have attended the Youth Center over the past 20 years since its doors opened in October of 1997. It is still going as strong as ever.
