6th Annual
Step Up Art Contest

The art contest is open to all students of Porterville area schools.  Participants are asked to design a banner with a different theme each year.

The purpose of the contest is to promote Step Up, which seeks to decrease gang activity and support positive opportunities for youth and their families.  First place prizes are awarded in each age division and one grand prize winner will get their artwork featured on a Porterville Transit bus and be awarded a $250 gift card.

This year's theme was developed by the Porterville Youth Commission and asks participants to design a banner that illustrates choices they can make to benefit their environment.  Entry forms are due by February 9, 2018.  Contest Entry Form >>
